You can now show related items on the dynamic details pages with filters using reference and multi-reference fields straight from the Collection addon. For instance, if you are looking to display that “you might also like” section or “related items” section you can now effortlessly achieve that with the Reference & Multi-Reference filtering.

Whether it is a recipe details page showing other recipes from the same author or filtering recipes that share similar tags, everything can now be done smoothly using Reference and Multi-Reference filtering, without any complex setup.

Default Mode in Global Color Settings

The latest version of SP Page Builder introduces a new option that lets you set a default color mode. If you have multiple color modes, you can choose any one of them to be the default, and only that mode will be displayed.

To apply your preferred color as the default, make sure to disable the color switcher option in the settings.

Support for Video Subtitles in Video Addon

The Video addon now includes built-in subtitle support for MP4 videos to make your content more accessible and user-friendly.

You can upload a VTT (WebVTT) subtitle file directly from the addon settings. You also have the option to define a subtitle language code, such as en for English, and set a custom label that appears in the video player.

This makes it easy for viewers to switch on subtitles in their preferred language, enhancing both accessibility and the overall viewing experience.

Improvements to Page Versioning

Page versioning now comes with enhanced controls to make version management more efficient.

You can bulk delete multiple versions at once, saving time when cleaning up outdated entries. In addition, a new version limit option lets you define how many versions should be stored for a page, automatically removing older ones as new versions are created.

Along with regular and discounted pricing, you can now set a Base Unit Price and define the unit it applies to. So if a product is sold by weight, you can simply set a price per kilogram, making unit-based comparison smooth, clear, and super helpful while shopping.

All you need to do is turn on these options in your EasyStore Product settings and define them while creating your products!

Keep Track of Your Product Profitability
After this update you can also define a Cost Per Unit to track how much it costs to produce or buy each item.

Based on this, EasyStore automatically calculates your profit and margin, so you can clearly see what you earn from every sale and understand your product profitability at a glance.

And don’t worry, this stays internal and isn’t shown to customers!

Minimum & Maximum Order Quantity Option

What if you could control exactly how many units a customer can buy in a single order? You can now achieve that without any worries!

Set a minimum and maximum order quantities for your products for you to have better control over your sales.

Set a Minimum Quantity to ensure customers purchase at least a certain number of units, and a Maximum Quantity to limit how many units can be bought in a single order, helping you manage stock better and prevent overselling.

Dedicated Fields to Add Unique Product Codes

Introduced Order Cancellation for Both Customer and Admin

EasyStore now gives both administrators and customers the flexibility to cancel orders when needed, making order management more convenient on both sides.

As a site administrator, you can cancel an order directly from the backend. Customers, on the other hand, can cancel their own orders from the order history through the “View My Orders” option.

In both cases, once an order is cancelled, the Order Summary will automatically update its status to “Cancelled,” keeping everything clear and consistent.

Note: Before updating, we recommend taking a backup of your site. If you roll back to an older version after upgrading, changes made in the newer version won’t be reflected in the older version.

Introducing Page Versioning, a feature that lets you bring back previously saved layouts whenever you need them.

Page Versioning works by storing a saved version of the layout. As you continue editing and updating the page, these saved versions build a history you can revisit anytime. From the version list, you can quickly review earlier versions and restore the one you want.

Just remember to click Save whenever you make changes. Each save creates a new version, giving you a reliable way to return to an earlier layout whenever needed.

With Page Versioning, you can:

Create new versions manually: Besides creating versions automatically when you save your layout, you can also manually create a new version at any time. Simply click the “+” icon, add a version name and a note, and save it to access whenever needed.
Preview Versions before Restoring: Before restoring a page, you can preview its previous versions to see exactly what changes were made. This helps ensure you select the right version without losing any important content or layout adjustments.
Restore page versions: If you need to roll back changes, simply select any earlier version from the list and restore the page to that design.
Rename or delete versions: Keep your version history organized by renaming versions for clarity or removing ones you no longer need.
Manage versions from frontend and backend: You can manage page versions with ease by adding, restoring, renaming, or deleting them directly from both the frontend and backend editors of SP Page Builder.

In Power Admin, these settings have been reorganized and pulled out into the expanded Systems menu, allowing you to access Global Configuration, Maintenance, Manage, Joomla, and Information directly without opening an additional dashboard page. This makes navigation more direct while keeping everything logically structured.

If you prefer the classic approach, the System Dashboard option still gives you a centralized overview of all system settings.

You can now bring your existing SP Page Builder Article Details layout directly into Dynamic Content, creating a smoother and more unified design workflow.

Previously, even if you had already designed an Article Details page with SP Page Builder, there wasn't any direct way to reuse that layout inside a Dynamic Content details page. You would have to rebuild everything again from the beginning.

With this new option, that limitation is gone. If you already have an Article Details design in place, you can now seamlessly fetch the same layout into your Dynamic Content Article Details page, saving time and letting you transition into Dynamic Content without starting over!

How does it work:

Just add a Collection addon, assign it to Articles, drop a Dynamic Text addon inside, and link it to your SP Page Builder Layout. And that is all you need to do!

Show Exact Locations with Geolocation Fields

Just when we thought this update couldn’t get any better, here’s a feature to make you even more excited—Geolocation fields are finally here!

The Geolocation field in Dynamic Content lets you capture, store, and display location-based information for your articles, listings, or any type of content. It adds context, personalization, and a real-world touch that makes your content truly come alive.

Adding your location is super easy—just enter it, and the longitude and latitude fields are populated instantly!

How does it work:

Using the geolocation field to your pages is easy! Simply add Geolocation fields to your collection items and then display them in the frontend by using the Dynamic Media addon and linking it to the corresponding geolocation field.

Why you’ll love it:

Enter Your Address Directly: You can simply type in the address of your content or item, and it will be recognized by the Geolocation field.

Single or Multiple Locations Per Item: Each collection item can hold one or multiple addresses, giving you the flexibility to display multiple properties with several locations.

Automatic Longitude & Latitude Detection: Once you enter an address, the longitude and latitude are automatically generated. This ensures accurate mapping and makes it effortless to display locations on maps without manually calculating coordinates.

Introduced Field-based Sorting for Dynamic Content

Field-based sorting in SP Page Builder gives you complete control over how dynamic content lists appear on your pages. Instead of depending on default or random ordering, you can organize content using the value of a specific field that truly matters to your layout.

In simple terms, it allows you to sort dynamic content based on your defined field.

The Sorting Column option in a collection lets you:

Organize dynamic content using a specific field from the collection
Control the display order to make your layout more meaningful
Choose Ascending or Descending order for precise arrangement

For example, a collection like Services with a Rating field, you can:

Sort services by rating to highlight top performers
Display higher rated items first using Descending order
Show lower rated items first using Ascending order

Dynamic Content Filters with Current Date & Date Range Support

Keeping time based content up to date just got a whole lot easier!

With the new Current Date option in Collection addon’s filters, SP Page Builder can now automatically show or hide content based on current date. No manual updates. No constant checking.

How it Works?

When you select a Date field and choose “Is After” or “Is Before” as the condition, you’ll now see a Date Type option.

Selecting Current Date means SP Page Builder will compare your content’s date with the current day, not a fixed date you set in advance.

In simple words, your content reacts to time as it passes, appearing or disappearing on your rule. This happens automatically for every visitor, every day.

Showing only upcoming events while past ones fade away.
Automatically expiring offers or promotions.

The Form Builder addon now includes date formatting support to let you have full control over how dates are displayed in your forms. When you select Date as the field type in the form items, a Date Formatter option appears, where you can choose the exact date format you want to show.

Fixes:
An issue affecting dynamic content permissions (ACL) has been fixed, ensuring that content visibility now correctly follows assigned user roles and access levels.

Popup permissions are now working as expected, so popups will only appear for the users they are meant to reach.

A breadcrumb display issue on detail pages has also been resolved, improving navigation clarity and making it easier for visitors to understand where they are on the site.

Global Configuration page on Joomla 6: Some users running Joomla 6 couldn’t access the Global Configuration page due to a loading error. This update resolves that, so you can now open and manage your site’s settings without any interruptions.

Head over to SP Medical > Departments > + New to create your first one. Start by filling in the basics: the department name, a short alias, a brief description, and some information about the treatments offered.
When you reach the Treatments field, click the + button to add each type of treatment along with its price. This helps visitors understand exactly what to expect.
Don't forget to add investigations or additional services specific to this department. Once everything looks good, click Save & Close.

Just like that, your first department is live and ready. Now, follow the same procedure to create as many departments as your medical center requires.

Step 2: List Your Specialists

Next, set up your dynamic collections. You can either choose from the Collection Presets or create your own from scratch.

We have created three collections: Properties, Agents, and Features.

Use fields like Image, Title, Location, Price, Type, and more to structure your collections.

Step 3: Include Your Collection Items

After setting up each collection, it's time to add your collection items.

Click the Add Items button to populate the fields with relevant data.
Once completed, click Save to store your items.
Add as many collection items as needed for each collection.

Step 4: Plan How You Want to Connect Your Collection References

Planning is key! Decide how you want to connect your collections using the reference and multi-reference fields.

In this demonstration:

“Properties” will serve as the primary collection.
The “Agents” collection will be linked to the Properties collection using a Reference field (allowing one agent per property).
The “Features” collection will be linked to the Properties collection using a Multi-reference field (allowing multiple features per property).

Step 5: Add Reference and Multi-Reference Fields to Your Collections

With your collections ready, it’s time to include Reference and Multi-reference fields in the Properties collection.

Open your created Properties collection by clicking the three dots next to it and selecting Edit.
Click Custom Fields, scroll down, and select the Reference field. Then, choose "Agent" as the source.
Similarly, select the Multi-reference field (located just below the Reference field) and choose "Features" as the source.
Click Update Collection to save your changes.

Now, update your Property items to include their respective “Agents” and “Features”.

Open each Property item in the Properties collection.

Design your Dynamic Index page as you would with any SP Page Builder page. The key difference here is the ability to include dynamic data into your layout using the Dynamic Content addons.

Let's integrate the reference fields into the Dynamic Index page layout.

To display the reference fields data:

Inside the Collection addon, add a Dynamic Text addon and rename it to your preference.
Set the addon’s Field Source to Property Agents > Title.
Customize the addon to align seamlessly with your layout. For instance, we’ve set the font to Inter and adjusted the size to 12px.
As an optional step, you can use some custom CSS to enhance the design. We have presented the Agents' names as a badge overlay on each image.

To display the multi-reference data:

Add a new Dynamic Collection addon within your existing Collection addon and set its source to Features.
Inside this newly added Collection addon, include the Dynamic Text and Dynamic Media addons.
Set the Dynamic Text addon's source to Value and the Dynamic Media addon's source to Image.
Hit Save once done.

Step 8: Add Reference and Multi-Reference Fields to Your Dynamic Details Page

For the Property Details page, use a similar method by mapping Dynamic Text and Dynamic Media addons to the appropriate fields. Keep in mind that a Collection addon is only necessary for displaying multi-reference fields. For all other fields, you can directly use the Dynamic Text and Dynamic Media addons without additional setup.

Step 9: Final Result

Give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back for making it this far! Your Dynamic Content page now seamlessly displays both reference and multi-reference data. To modify this data, simply update your dynamic collection items—no need to adjust the page layout.
