Default Mode in Global Color Settings

The latest version of SP Page Builder introduces a new option that lets you set a default color mode. If you have multiple color modes, you can choose any one of them to be the default, and only that mode will be displayed.

To apply your preferred color as the default, make sure to disable the color switcher option in the settings.

Support for Video Subtitles in Video Addon

The Video addon now includes built-in subtitle support for MP4 videos to make your content more accessible and user-friendly.

You can upload a VTT (WebVTT) subtitle file directly from the addon settings. You also have the option to define a subtitle language code, such as en for English, and set a custom label that appears in the video player.

This makes it easy for viewers to switch on subtitles in their preferred language, enhancing both accessibility and the overall viewing experience.

Page Versioning works by storing a saved version of the layout. As you continue editing and updating the page, these saved versions build a history you can revisit anytime. From the version list, you can quickly review earlier versions and restore the one you want. 

Just remember to click Save whenever you make changes. Each save creates a new version, giving you a reliable way to return to an earlier layout whenever needed.

With Page Versioning, you can:

• Create new versions manually: Besides creating versions automatically when you save your layout, you can also manually create a new version at any time. Simply click the “+” icon, add a version name and a note, and save it to access whenever needed.
• Preview Versions before Restoring: Before restoring a page, you can preview its previous versions to see exactly what changes were made. This helps ensure you select the right version without losing any important content or layout adjustments.
• Restore page versions: If you need to roll back changes, simply select any earlier version from the list and restore the page to that design.
• Rename or delete versions: Keep your version history organized by renaming versions for clarity or removing ones you no longer need.
• Manage versions from frontend and backend: You can manage page versions with ease by adding, restoring, renaming, or deleting them directly from both the frontend and backend editors of SP Page Builder.

You can now bring your existing SP Page Builder Article Details layout directly into Dynamic Content, creating a smoother and more unified design workflow.

Previously, even if you had already designed an Article Details page with SP Page Builder, there wasn't any direct way to reuse that layout inside a Dynamic Content details page. You would have to rebuild everything again from the beginning.

With this new option, that limitation is gone. If you already have an Article Details design in place, you can now seamlessly fetch the same layout into your Dynamic Content Article Details page, saving time and letting you transition into Dynamic Content without starting over!

How does it work:

Just add a Collection addon, assign it to Articles, drop a Dynamic Text addon inside, and link it to your SP Page Builder Layout. And that is all you need to do!

Show Exact Locations with Geolocation Fields

The Geolocation field in Dynamic Content lets you capture, store, and display location-based information for your articles, listings, or any type of content. It adds context, personalization, and a real-world touch that makes your content truly come alive.

Adding your location is super easy—just enter it, and the longitude and latitude fields are populated instantly!

How does it work:

Using the geolocation field to your pages is easy! Simply add Geolocation fields to your collection items and then display them in the frontend by using the Dynamic Media addon and linking it to the corresponding geolocation field.

Enter Your Address Directly: You can simply type in the address of your content or item, and it will be recognized by the Geolocation field.

• Sort services by rating to highlight top performers
• Display higher rated items first using Descending order

Dynamic Content Filters with Current Date & Date Range Support

Keeping time based content up to date just got a whole lot easier!

With the new Current Date option in Collection addon’s filters, SP Page Builder can now automatically show or hide content based on current date. No manual updates. No constant checking.

How it Works?

When you select a Date field and choose “Is After” or “Is Before” as the condition, you’ll now see a Date Type option.

Selecting Current Date means SP Page Builder will compare your content’s date with the current day, not a fixed date you set in advance.

In simple words, your content reacts to time as it passes, appearing or disappearing on your rule. This happens automatically for every visitor, every day.
